2025 Prophecies: ‘Nigeria’s Leadership Selfish, Satanic’ — Primate Ayodele

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has unveiled his prophecies for 2025, addressing critical political, economic, and social issues in Nigeria and beyond.

Speaking at a press briefing on December 20, 2024, the predictions were titled ‘Warnings to the Nation’ and offered both caution and insight into future developments.

Nigerian Politics: Opposition Must Unite to Unseat Tinubu

Primate Ayodele emphasized that unseating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections would be unattainable unless opposition parties form a coalition.

“No party can unseat President Bola Tinubu without unity among opposition groups. Selfishness will favour his re-election,” he warned.

He predicted that Tinubu’s administration would face hurdles, particularly regarding economic reforms.

Mismanagement of tax reforms and salary increments, he noted, would worsen hardship for the poor.

Additionally, he foresaw that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) under Yemi Cardoso would fail to stabilize the economy, with denominations like N100 and N200 losing relevance due to inflation.

Global Insights: Donald Trump Criticized

On the international stage, Primate Ayodele criticized U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, describing him as a “comedian president” who would abuse power, promote racism, and create social disorder.

“It is unfortunate Trump is returning. His administration will lead to economic instability and rising violence in the U.S.,” he remarked.

Warnings on Nigeria’s Economic and Social Challenges

Primate Ayodele delivered stern warnings on pressing national issues:

Floods and Food Scarcity: He forecast widespread flooding and worsening food shortages in 2025.

Security Concerns: He cautioned the police about potential breakdowns in law and order in major cities, including Abuja, Lagos, Kano, and Kaduna.

Economic Mismanagement: He predicted petrol prices could surge to N1,300 per litre, blaming inefficiencies within the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He called for leadership reforms and greater transparency within the NNPC.

Socio-Political Developments and Recommendations

Nnamdi Kanu: He predicted the unconditional release of the IPOB leader but warned that agitation in the Southeast would persist.

NYSC Allowances: Many states would fail to pay the new minimum wage and NYSC allowances, he said.

Alaafin of Oyo: He urged Governor Seyi Makinde to handle the appointment of the new Alaafin with caution.

Football Predictions and National Sports

For Chelsea Football Club, he predicted a stronger performance in 2025 and qualification for the Champions Cup.

For Nigeria, he advised hiring a foreign coach, asserting that Austin Eguavoen would fail to qualify the team for the World Cup.

Call for Leadership Reforms

Primate Ayodele criticized Nigeria’s leadership as “selfish and satanic,” urging immediate reforms to address corruption and inefficiency.

He stressed the importance of practical solutions to unemployment and youth empowerment, warning that societal vices like cybercrime would persist without intervention.

He concluded with a plea for decisive action from President Tinubu, stating, “Nigeria is in a coma. Without urgent action, the nation’s woes will deepen.”
