Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Price to N899.50, Unveils Festive Offer

In a move to ease the financial burden on Nigerians during the holiday season, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre.

This marks a significant drop from the previous price of N970 per litre, which had been introduced on November 24.

The announcement was made by Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, who also revealed a unique festive offer to further support consumers.

As part of the initiative, customers purchasing fuel on a cash basis will be eligible to acquire an additional litre on credit, backed by guarantees from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.

“To alleviate transport expenses during this holiday season, Dangote Refinery is offering a holiday discount on PMS.

“From today, our petrol will be available at N899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or SPM,” Chiejina said.

The refinery also expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support and reaffirmed its commitment to providing premium-quality petroleum products that are both competitively priced and environmentally friendly.

The Dangote Refinery, the largest single-train refinery in the world with a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day (BPD), is a game-changer in Nigeria’s energy sector.

It is fully equipped to meet the nation’s refined petroleum needs and produce a surplus for export.

Chiejina highlighted the refinery’s role in eliminating the inflow of substandard imported petroleum products, which have long posed risks to human health, machinery, and the environment.
