Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, today, begged the United Kingdom, UK, Court, to temper justice with mercy on the matter which led to the conviction of the former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice.
It would be recalled that the Ekweremadu's were found guilty of organ trafficking by the Central Criminal Court, Old Bailey, in London.
Specifically, in his letter addressed to the Chief Clerk of the Court, Obasanjo urged the Clerk to intervene and ensure that the UK government tempered justice with mercy on the case.
