Dangote Industries Limited has announced a major crackdown on the illegal use of its branded trucks, unveiling a whistleblower initiative that offers N500,000 cash rewards for credible tips leading to arrests or interception of unauthorised goods.
In a statement released from Lagos, the company said the program aims to protect the integrity of its logistics network and stop unscrupulous individuals from using Dangote trucks to transport unapproved cargo or persons.
Dangote Group reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on logistics-related fraud, stating that public cooperation is critical to eradicating illegal haulage.
The initiative is designed to protect company assets, strengthen transparency, and ensure compliance across its nationwide transportation system.
“Public cooperation remains critical in our efforts to eradicate illegal haulage activities. We encourage anyone with credible information to come forward and help us maintain the integrity of our transportation system,” the company stated.
