If there's one prophet in Nigeria who can be described as fearless, it would be Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, known for his impactful prophetic statements.
He has consistently spoken out about the escalating situation involving the US, Israel, and Iran, repeatedly warning that the US would ultimately face losses in the conflict. He even controversially referred to Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, as a devil interested in taking innocent lives.
Although Primate Ayodele had previously warned Iran and its leaders about an impending attack – warnings that went unheeded – he has nonetheless strongly condemned the US and Israel for carrying out these assaults.
However, a prophecy he delivered on Friday night during a beachside prayer meeting regarding the US-Iran war has now shockingly materialised within 24 hours, leaving many astonished.
Addressing his congregation, Primate Ayodele declared that he foresaw US military aircraft being shot down – an event many would have considered highly improbable.
His exact words were: “America's military aircraft will be bombed. Iran isn’t Venezuela, and they are not afraid of America.
“The point is that the war is concluded and Trump has lost it. There is something in that war they want to achieve, but they won't be able to achieve it.”
In a stunning turn of events, just hours after this prophecy was shared, news broke: A U.S. fighter jet was reportedly shot down over Iran.
A U.S. official informed Reuters that search-and-rescue efforts have so far recovered one of two ejected crew members.
This marks the first known incident of its kind in the nearly five-week-old conflict.
Neither the Pentagon nor U.S. Central Command immediately responded to requests for comment.
The prospect of a U.S. pilot being alive and at large within Iran significantly escalates the stakes for the U.S. in a conflict that, according to opinion polls, has struggled to garner popular support among Americans.
It also presents a critical challenge to the U.S. military, which faces the dual objectives of saving an American life behind enemy lines while safeguarding those involved in perilous rescue missions.
