Vision 2030: Dangote Cement Rewards Distributors with ₦15 Billion to Kickstart $100 Billion Goal

LAGOS, Nigeria – In a dazzling display of corporate gratitude and industrial ambition, Dangote Cement Plc has rewarded its network of distributors and customers with a staggering ₦15 billion in prizes.

The 2026 Distributors’ Awards Night, held at the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island, served as both a celebration of past loyalty and a strategic launchpad for the Group’s audacious Vision 2030 roadmap.

Under the theme ‘Partner for Growth,’ the evening saw high-performing partners walk away with life-changing rewards.

The haul included massive cash prizes, containers of cement, high-end SUVs, and industrial CNG-powered trucks

Addressing the gathered stakeholders, the President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, described the distributors as the heartbeat of the organisation.

He noted that their engagement is the bridge between corporate strategy and tangible market results.

Dangote reiterated his Vision 2030 strategy, a comprehensive plan to transform the Dangote Group into a $100 billion enterprise by the end of the decade.

This vision is built on three pillars: industrial expansion, cross-border investment, and African self-sufficiency.

"Vision 2030, an integral aspect of our Africa First project, was borne out of my firm belief that Africa’s future will be built by Africans who refuse to accept limits," Dangote declared.

The industrial titan revealed explosive growth targets for the Group’s core assets. By 2030, Dangote Cement aims to reach a production capacity of 90 million tonnes per annum.

To put this in perspective, Dangote noted that this volume would be 50% higher than the entire current production capacity of Saudi Arabia.

The expansion is not limited to cement. The Group plans to:

* Refinery: Increase capacity from 650,000 bpd to 1.4 million bpd.

* Fertiliser: Scale production to 12 million metric tonnes per annum.

* Petrochemicals: Boost output at the polypropylene plant.

"Our ambition goes beyond building factories. It is about building Africa’s capacity to feed itself, power its economy, and develop its people," Dangote explained.

Dangote reminded the audience of the ₦1 trillion ($600 million) education fund launched by the Aliko Dangote Foundation in December 2025.

The fund is designed to support over 1.3 million vulnerable Nigerian students, focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training), and girls' education.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Emmanuel Ikazoboh, making his first official appearance in the role, took to the stage to detail the financial rewards.

He confirmed that ₦9 billion of the total reward pool was being disbursed in direct cash payments.

"For some of you, it will be a double celebration, as you may receive two alerts in recognition of both your volume and growth results," Ikazoboh said.

He also highlighted the company’s shift toward a greener supply chain. He announced that Dangote Cement has invested heavily in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks.

The company’s goal is to have its entire logistics fleet running on CNG by the end of 2027, aligning with global sustainability guidelines and reducing operational costs for distributors.

The Chairman also looked toward the horizon, announcing a new greenfield project in Itori, Ogun State

This two-line plant will boast a 6 million metric tonne capacity and will be dedicated primarily to exports.

Additionally, the Group is expanding its grinding plant in Côte d’Ivoire, signalling a renewed push to dominate the West African corridor.
