Ghana was thrown into a state of national mourning yesterday following the death of eight top government officials, including the defence minister, the national vice chairman of the ruling party, and other prominent members of President John Mahama’s cabinet.
They were on their way to a function when their helicopter went missing, only to be reported as crashed a few moments later, killing everyone on board.
The deaths no doubt threw the ruling government and the nation as a whole into disarray, as many reports claimed President Mahama was initially scheduled to be part of the crew but sent representatives to the function.
This raised serious questions, as it is expected that the aircraft the president was supposed to use should be in the best condition.
While we pray that the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace, it is important to examine the spiritual angle and the words already spoken about the unfortunate incident that claimed the lives of these prominent individuals.
Before Mahama was elected in 2024, there were several prophecies about the election.
However, the most prominent among them, which actually foretold some of the things that would happen if he won the election, came from Nigerian prophet Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.
Primate Ayodele released no fewer than 10 prophecies regarding Ghana’s election.
In all of them, he stated that voting for Mahama in Ghana was tantamount to voting for the devil’s choice.
At different times, he made it known that the former vice president, Mahamudu Bawumia, was God’s choice for the people of Ghana, and if they failed to vote for him, they would have themselves to blame.
One of the prophecies read: “Mahama will cause destruction in Ghana. He is not God’s choice, and I know a lot of NDC members will get angry because they would rather not hear the truth.
“I’m not God, but Mahama will be a mistake for Ghana. Bawumia is God’s choice. I love Mahama as a person, but when God says that is the person he wants, who am I?
“And if Ghanaians don’t want Bawumia, let them vote for Mahama, and just as Nigerians are suffering for rejecting God’s choice, they will face the same thing.
“If they vote for Mahama, they have voted for jeopardy, calamity, sorrow, stagnation, and setback.”
The prophet maintained that Mahama was not God’s choice for the people of Ghana, and if they proceeded with him, there would be consequences of sorrow, calamity, and setback.
Earlier this year, in January, Primate Ayodele spoke again about Mahama’s administration, making it known that there would be more negative occurrences in the country than positive ones.
He further described this as a consequence of disobedience when the Lord warned Ghanaians not to vote for Mahama.
These were his words: “Ghana will experience more negative things than positive because they took the glory of Bawumia, spiritually gave it to Mahama.
“They manipulated the victor, that is why Mahama will pay for it. Mahama is not the best candidate.
“So Mahama’s victory is black magic. It is black power they used for Mahama. The pastors know that is why the pastors who prayed for him will suffer because Mahama will disappoint them, and he will neglect them.
“The Ghanaian economy will slump, and Ghana has not seen anything yet. Ghana should expect tougher days.”

The unfortunate helicopter crash is definitely a very negative event in Mahama’s administration.
Can this be part of the consequences Primate Ayodele warned about? Are we to expect more?
Meanwhile, three days ago, during a church service, Primate Ayodele warned that he foresaw a helicopter crash that would claim lives.

This no doubt fulfils the prophecy of Primate Ayodele.
