Polaris Bank wrapped up its nationwide financial literacy campaign at Government Day Secondary School, Pantami, Gombe State, marking the final leg of its World Savings Day 2024 celebrations.

The initiative, which spanned all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), aimed to promote a culture of saving and responsible financial management among young Nigerians.

The program, which began on October 28, 2024, culminated in an interactive session on November 14, 2024, where students learned practical lessons on savings and personal finance.

The final event, attended by students and educators, featured engaging discussions to help instil financial discipline in the next generation.

Aliyu Baba Adamu, Group Head of the North East region and representative of Polaris Bank's MD/CEO underscored the importance of financial literacy in shaping a financially responsible society.

“This program is designed to empower young Nigerians with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions, helping bridge the financial literacy gap and contributing to Nigeria's financial inclusion and economic growth,” he said.
