‘FG's N60,000 Minimum Wage Proposal Not Sustainable, Cannot Fly’ — Governors

The N60,000 minimum wage proposal by the Federal Government, FG, is not sustainable and cannot fly.

This position was made public by the 36 state governors who constitute the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

The forum through a statement issued by its Acting Director, Media Affairs and Public Relations, Mrs Halima Ahmed, noted that if allowed to fly, many states will use all their monthly allocations from the federation account to pay workers’ salaries.
