Mambilla Power Project Scandal: Former Power Minister, Agunloye, Remanded In Prison

Justice Donatus Okorowu of a Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday, January 10, remanded a former Minister of Power and Steel, Olu Agunloye, to Kuje Correctional Service.

It would be recalled that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned Agunloye over allegations of fraud in the Mambilla Power Project.

But the former Minister pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Specifically, Justice Okorowu directed that the former Minister be kept in the Kuje correctional facility pending when bail would be granted.
