The call for the installation of an Interim National Government, ING, in the country by some Nigerians remains illegal and unconstitutional.
This position was made public by the Defence Headquarters, DHQ, which equally stated that the military will not support illegality and would do everything in its power to defend the constitution of the country.
Speaking while fielding questions from journalists on the call by some aggrieved individuals in the country for an interim government following the outcome of the just concluded general elections, the Director, Defence Media Operations, DMO, Major General Musa Danmadami, insisted that the request will not see the light of the day.
