Justice Raliat Adebiyi of an Ikeja High Court today fixed March 24, 2023, for the adoption of final written addresses in relation to the criminal charge slammed against the former Director-General, DG, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Patrick Akpobolokemi.
The former NIMASA boss and Ezekiel Bala Agaba had filed a no-case submission seeking to throw out the charge made against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
They are specifically answering questions about the alleged N754.8 million fraud, having been accused of defrauding NIMASA.
The duo were initially charged alongside Governor Juan, Vincent Udoye, Ekene Nwakuche, Adegboyega Olopoenia and a company, Gama Marine Nigeria Limited before the charge was amended to involve only both of them.
