The Lekki Phase 1 trade fair 2021, which started on Friday, December 10, has ended on, December 12,
, 2021.
The trade fair was attended by the executive members of LERA which included its Vice-Chairman, Sir Malachy Ezeoke; Secretary, Barrister Funmi Adeogun; and Treasurer, Mrs Winifred.
Speaking during the closing ceremony of the trade fair, the LERA Vice-Chairman, Ezeoke expressed appreciation to the participants, with a further revelation that it was the first time LERA was organizing such a mini trade fair.
According to Ezeoke, it comes with a lot of experience, just as he gave the assurance that some shortcomings during the event has been noted and promised that subsequent Lekki mini trade fair would be interesting and better.
The Vice-Chairman prayed for their businesses to flourish and experience phenomenal growth.
It would be recalled that during the opening ceremony which took place at The Pavilion, Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, the Chairman of LERA, Abayomi Idowu had expressed satisfaction that with the presence and continued participation of participants, the annual event would be propelled into the most popular and sought after trade exhibition statewide.
In urging the participants to observe all COVID-19 protocols for their safety and that of others, the LERA Chairman had equally charged them to at all times put on their masks whilst within and outside the premises and constantly sanitize their hands.
According to him, “May I seize this opportunity to convey my sincere appreciation to members of the organizing committee for their selfless efforts in putting together this event. Many thanks to members of other LERA committees for their various contributions.
“I especially want to thank members of the LERA Exco for reinvigorating the vision of creating an all-inclusive living environment for residents of Lekki Phase One with this bold step of the Trade Fair.
“You will agree with me that this event is undoubtedly a forum for residents to socialize and interact, thereby bringing about unity and cohesion amongst all.“
In stating that Lekki Phase 1 community is recognized nationwide not just as a high brow residential neighborhood, but for its flourishing commercial activity with high-end shopping malls, fancy restaurants and buzzing nightlife, Idowu added that, “It is our hope, that this Trade Fair showcases the entrepreneurship and creativity of our residents and what they have to offer.“
