The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, stunned his congregation on Sunday, June 28, 2026, after gifting a fully furnished house in Lagos, seven vehicles, and other empowerment items to church members during the 2026 mid-year Thanksgiving programme.
The event, held at the church headquarters, left beneficiaries and attendees in disbelief as Primate Ayodele escalated his long-standing philanthropic tradition with life-changing donations that many described as unprecedented.
One couple arrived at the service in a modest saloon car. Primate Ayodele tested their generosity by requesting a small donation to the church.
After they complied, he returned the money, added more, and then handed them the keys to a brand-new Toyota SUV. The couple was left speechless.
In another dramatic moment, a long-time supporter of the ministry, though not a full church member, was asked to surrender the keys to his old car.
Primate Ayodele immediately gave the vehicle to another member as an empowerment gift. Before the man could process the gesture, the prophet presented him with the keys to a newer Toyota vehicle.
Two pastors also received vehicles, one a Mercedes-Benz and the other a Lexus SUV. The prophet further introduced an empowerment raffle: congregants with N1 million were entered to win cars worth about N7 million each. Four winners emerged and drove home in different vehicles.
The highlight of the day came when Primate Ayodele presented the Certificate of Occupancy for a fully furnished house in Lagos to the church’s second-in-command. The announcement left the congregation in awe.
Beyond cars and houses, Primate Ayodele extended his subsidy market initiative. Food items were sold at heavily discounted prices: bags of rice for N30,000, cartons of Indomie noodles for N4,000, and loaves of bread for N1,500.
Students, widows, elderly members, traders, and church workers also received financial support and other empowerment packages
