President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday announced the appointment of Bianca Ojukwu, widow of the late Biafra warlord Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, along with six other individuals as Ministers in his cabinet. The announcement was made through a statement from the Presidency shortly after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, presided over by Tinubu.
Bianca Ojukwu has been appointed as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Other key appointments include Nentawe Yilwatda as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi as the Minister of Labour & Employment, and Jumoke Oduwole as the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment (Trade and Investment).
Additionally, Idi Mukhtar Maiha will serve as the Minister of Livestock Development, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata as the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Suwaiba Said Ahmad as the Minister of State for Education.
These appointments come as part of President Tinubu's efforts to strengthen his administration and address key areas of national development.
