Nigerian musician and multi-talented artist Olasunkanmi Oluwatobi David, popularly known as Sax Sensation, is set to bring his unique musical style to audiences across the United Kingdom this winter.
With preparations complete, the acclaimed performer is eager to share his musical talents and create unforgettable experiences during his six-month tour.
Sax Sensation, known for his energy and versatility in playing various musical instruments, has won the hearts of fans for over five years.
After captivating audiences in Nigeria, he is now set to take his talent to the UK, where he will perform for the Nigerian diaspora from December 2024 to May 2025.
According to his manager, Babatunde Olatunji Emmanuel, the tour will kick off with a special live performance on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at True Vine Pentecostal Church International.
The tour will feature a range of performances, including a New Year celebration on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Funke Bee Cuisines, 77A Rushey Green, Catford, London SE6 4AF, and a show at New Nollywood Entertainment Studios, Crown Commercial Center, 71-73 Nathan Way, London SE28 0BQ, on Friday, January 10, 2025.
Additional performances will be announced throughout the tour.
Born in Nigeria on October 9th in the 1980s, Sax Sensation earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2014.
He also honed his musical skills at Peter King's Music College, where he studied various woodwind instruments, including soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones.
In addition to performing with his band, Sax Sensation will share the stage with Adeyi Olamilekan Oluwagbenga of Holla Royal Music Band and Mr Ayolade Jones, also known as the “Melody of Juju.”
Together, they aim to deliver performances that blend Nigerian cultural rhythms with contemporary sounds.
The tour is promoted by Merry Entertainment Studios and will include the recording and launch of a new musical video.
