Agbakoba Writes To National Assembly, Claims EFCC Is Unlawfully Established

Renowned lawyer, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, has raised constitutional concerns regarding law enforcement agencies in Nigeria, particularly highlighting issues that hinder the government's efforts to combat corruption as outlined in Section 13 of the Constitution.

In two letters addressed to the Senate and House of Representatives on October 14, 2024, Agbakoba argued that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is an unlawful organization, asserting that it was “unconstitutionally established.”
