The President of Benin Republic, Patrice Talon, has just been saved from what would have led to the sudden exit of his government, all thanks to the prophecy of Nigerian prophet Primate Elijah Ayodele, which he shared six months ago.
According to reports, Benin prosecutors announced on Wednesday the arrest of three prominent individuals, including a commander of the presidential guard, on suspicion of planning a coup d’état in the West African nation.
The other two suspects are former sports minister Oswald Homeky and businessman Olivier Boko, who is reportedly close to President Talon.
Elonm Mario Metonou, the special prosecutor for financial crimes and terrorism, revealed that the alleged coup was intended to take place on Friday.
In May 2024, Primate Ayodele, in a publication, revealed that he foresees an evil attempt on President Talon’s government.
He urged the president not to trust the security details attached to him, as they would attempt to carry out something evil.
These were his words:
“The president must not rely on the security of the country; he should form a new security outfit that will protect him. Otherwise, I see an evil attempt on him by the security operatives surrounding him presently.
“He should seek divine intervention towards the next election because there will be an uprising against him.
“He will do better at infrastructure, but there will be economic hardship.
“The country will disagree with the President of France. He must be careful of political betrayals and failing health.’’
Thankfully, President Talon appears to have listened to the prophecy of Primate Ayodele and put his security on high alert, and this led to the arrest of the coup plotters who had planned doomsday for the president.
As Primate Ayodele warned the President not to trust his security details, though it may not have made sense in May, but presently, with the involvement of the President’s guard commander, the prophet’s prophecy has come to pass.
