A Canadian-Nigerian woman, Amaka Sonnberger, has been arrested over calls for the mass killing of Nigerians in Canada.
Amaka Sonnberger was arrested by the Toronto Police. The news of her arrest was contained in a statement entitled: “Suspected hate-motivated threatening investigation, woman arrested.”
It would be recalled that in a virtual meeting on TikTok, Amaka Sunnberger threatened to poison Yoruba and Benin people.
She is specifically being charged with uttering threats and will face a judge at the Ontario Court of Justice.
The case is being treated as a suspected hate-motivated offence, with the Toronto Police Hate Crime Unit actively involved in the investigation.
