The Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Casafina Development Company, Seyi Olufemi, has declared that the economy of Nigeria is stressed.
Olufemi made the declaration at the launching of the Chemical Plaza, Ojota, and the public presentation of Greystone Residence, Maryland, Ikeja, Lagos State.
While explaining that the real estate firm focuses on residential real estate development, Olufemi posited, “We know that the economy is stressed, we also know that this stress will end.
“Much more importantly, when things are down, inflation is high, and devaluation is affecting every other form of assets, this is the best time to go for prime properties.
“The current economic situation of the country is very crazy and no doubt affecting the real estate business, particularly the cost of input.”
In stating that one of the assets that will stand inflation is real estate, Olufemi, pleaded with the Federal Government, FG, to come up and implement policies that would be in the best interest of real estate practitioners in the country.
According to him, “I believe in Nigeria and this is where we would be in terms of opportunities.”
On his part, while speaking at the launching ceremony of the Chemical Plaza, a partner with Casafina, Gabriel Egwuatu, said the launching allows real estate practitioners to showcase what they have in terms of brand visibility, brand awareness and brand utility.
Chief John Okezie, the President, Chemical Dealers Association, Ojota, said the Chemical Plaza will add many fascinating things to the Ojota market which includes good security, easy access, understanding among those doing business around the market, and ease of obeying the law that governs the plaza which would be an enclosed place.
