Helicopter Crash: Kenya Loses Defence Chief, Commanders

Kenya’s Chief of the Defence Force, General Francis Omondi Ogolla, is dead.

He died alongside several other senior commanders when a Kenyan Military helicopter crashed in Elgeyo Marakwet County, about 400 kilometres northwest of Nairobi, resulting in fatalities.

The late General Ogolla was onboard the helicopter along with many other senior commanders when the aircraft caught fire upon crashing.
