Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Friday, April 19, 2024, threw out the money laundering charge slammed against the former Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke (SAN) by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The judge specifically upheld the no-case submission made by Adoke in her ruling.
Justice Ekwo particularly held that the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case against the ex-AGF to warrant his being called to enter his defence in respect of counts one to four of the 10-count charge, which relates to him.
