Seasoned marketing expert and the immediate past President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Tony Agenmonmen, and Obafemi Darabidan, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Clan Africa have confirmed to deliver the keynote addresses at the maiden Mediaconsortium Conference and Awards (MCCA) 2023.
The conference with the theme: Consumer Journey in a Digital Age: Prospects and Challenges, is scheduled to hold on Thursday, September 28, 2023, in Lagos at 10 am.
Agenmonmen, who is the Managing Consultant of OE&E Consulting Ltd, is a former Senior Strategy Manager at Nigerian Breweries Plc, a veteran of over 32 years in the marketing profession.
He will be speaking on the theme; “Consumer Journey in a Digital Age: Prospects and Challenges”.
Also expected to deliver a paper at the conference is Obafemi Darabidan, a distinguished professional with a wealth of experience in the banking and financing industry. He is a business planner, fintech enthusiast, and financial advisor.
Darabidan, who sits currently as the COO of Clan Africa, a full technology company with the sole mission of solving all lending problems in Africa, has over 16 years of experience across the fintech and allied industries.
He has garnered extensive practical skills and training across various domains, including business analysis, credit needs identification, credit analysis, credit sales and marketing, credit structuring, and financial technology operations.
Expected at the conference to dissect the papers and drive home the conversation in a panel discussion is a crop of experienced and tested professionals.
Among those who have confirmed participation are Obinna Inogbo, Principal PR Executive at Worktainment Limited, a public relations firm; Nelson Ochonogor, Head Product Management BaaS and fintech integrations at FCMB Group. Ochonogor is a global Fintech consultant/digital transformation strategist.
Others are Sandra Amachree, Head of Marketing Communications at Nigerian Breweries PLC, an experienced Human Resource Practitioner, Commercial Excellence Leader, and Timothy Ogundele, Head of Marketing/Brands Manager, Checkers Africa Ltd, makers of the Checkers Custard brand.
Organized by MediaConsortium, a brand, business and marketing publication, the conference, which is the maiden edition, is designed to create a platform of convergence for different stakeholders in the IMC value chain to foster the use of digital to address challenges brands face in building better brand-consumer relation and to highlight the process brands follow through with the consumers on this journey.
