Tinubu to Nigerians: 'Nigeria's democracy will remain intact under my watch'

My administration will not allow the use of illegal orders to truncate Nigeria’s democracy.

The above was the declaration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who also acknowledged the right of anyone who loses an election to seek redress through the judicial system.

President Tinubu spoke on Monday in a nationwide broadcast to mark June 12 Democracy Day, even as he assured that his administration would uphold the rule of law and protect democracy.
