The former deputy president of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, his wife, Beatrice, and doctor Obinna Odeta, were today sentenced to nine years and eight months imprisonment over their involvement in organ trafficking.
They were sent to jail by a judge at The Old Bailey in London.
Specifically at a sentencing hearing, Ekweremadu was jailed for nine years and eight months, his wife Beatrice was sentenced to four years and six months while Obeta received a 10-year prison term.
