New Naira Scarcity: ICPC Apprehends FCMB Manager Over Prevention Of ATMs From Dispensing Cash

A First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Manager in Osogbo, Osun State, where some Automated Teller Machines (ATM) were loaded with unwrapped Naira notes, thereby making it impossible for the machines to dispense cash, has been arrested.

The bank manager was arrested by the Compliance Team of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

The bank was thereafter ordered that the wrappers be removed, and the cash loaded properly, after Manager's arrest.
