Fresh Criminal Charges Slammed Against Former Rivers Governor, Amaechi, Cole

A plot by Governor Wike-led state government to frame up fresh criminal charges against former Governor, Chibuike Amaechi and the Governorship Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Pastor Tonye Cole, has been uncovered.

This development was made known by a Chieftain of the ruling APC and erstwhile National Publicity of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze.

The APC chieftain in a statement said the charges have been filed at the state high court and the Governor has directed the Chief Justice of the State to ensure that the matter is assigned to a Judge that will ensure a speedy trial and find the duo guilty in a bid to disgrace Amaechi and scuttle the chances of the APC at the polls.
