Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, the late wife of the Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, TFOLC Ilupeju, Lagos State, Nigeria, Taiwo Odukoya, will be laid to rest today.
The funeral service according to the church will begin at 11 am at the church premises.
It would be recalled that the burial rites for the late Associate Senior Pastor of the church had commenced on Monday (yesterday) with a Night of Tributes which started at 4:30 pm.
In attendance at the Night of Tributes include the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the General Overseer of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, TREM, Bishop Mike Okonkwo amongst other eminent personalities who had paid glowing tributes to the late clergywoman.
Pastor Nomthi Odukoya had died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, after battling cancer for the better part of two years.
The passing away of Pastor Nomthi was first announced by the bereaved Senior Pastor of TFOLC on his Instagram page wherein he had stated that the late Pastor Nomthi gave him eleven beautiful years of marriage.
Meanwhile, a statement issued by the church had stated that “With deep regret and gratitude to God, we have to announce the passing of our Senior Pastor’s wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya. She battled cancer for the better part of 2 years, she stood on the Word of God, and she fought.
“We loved her with all our heart, but who are we to fight with the will of God.
“The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Pastor Nomthi.”
