The conflict currently unfolding between the US, Israel, and Iran has taken a new turn following reports of the killing of the Iranian Supreme Leader yesterday.
President Donald Trump had announced that the Supreme Leader was killed in a strike, but this was initially debunked by Iran.
However, moments later, it was confirmed that the Iranian leader had indeed been killed.
The crisis has escalated beyond the three countries, with some Middle Eastern nations closing their airspace due to the ongoing strikes. Several areas were hit yesterday, and casualties continue to rise.
Meanwhile, these developments were reportedly foretold by Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele, at different times.
He had issued warnings to Iran and the United States of America regarding the unfortunate incident that had negatively impacted the global community.
First, in his 2026 prophecies released on Saturday, December 20, 2025, he stated that there would be an attack on Iran in the new year.
He categorically mentioned that the nation would witness a deadly attack. The prophet specifically noted on page 46 of the prophecy book that the US and Israel would be behind the attacks.
These were his words: IRAN: I foresee the country renewing efforts on its nuclear programme.
“The world will stand against it on this. Iran must be careful not to run into trouble and counter crises.
“It will experience different levels of crisis that will make the country stand still. I foresee external military aggression against Iran.
“There will be a new election and protests in Iran. The government of Iran will accuse the United States of America, China, and Israel of threats. I foresee Iran will experience natural calamities.”
In what supporters describe as a fulfilment of this prophecy, Israel and the US, the countries highlighted by the prophet, have now attacked the nation.
Secondly, Primate Ayodele consistently warned during some live services at his Lagos church that there would be an attempt by the US to assassinate the Supreme Leader of Iran.
He cautioned the US against carrying out such plans, while also advising the Islamic nation to remain watchful and prepare ahead.
These were his words: “America, don’t strike the leader of Iran. If you do, it will cause serious tension and war.”
He also mentioned in an earlier prophecy that he foresaw damage in Dubai.
“There is no crisis in Dubai; it’s the best country in the world, but I am seeing damage in Dubai.”
In what is being interpreted as a fulfilment of this prophecy, more explosions have reportedly been heard across the Gulf states as Iran carries out retaliatory attacks following strikes by the United States and Israel that allegedly killed its Supreme Leader and other top officials.
Explosions were heard for a second day on Sunday morning in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Manama, Bahrain; and Doha, Qatar, raising fears of a wider conflict in a region long considered a haven of peace and stability in an otherwise turbulent Middle East.
