LAGOS, NIGERIA – The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has announced a landmark partnership with the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) to establish a state-of-the-art School of Communication in Lagos.
The groundbreaking ceremony, scheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2026, marks a significant milestone in the cleric’s long-standing commitment to human capital development and educational empowerment.
The event is expected to draw a high-profile audience, including top university administrators, officials from the National Universities Commission (NUC), and prominent media personalities.
The new institution will leverage FUOYE’s academic framework to offer robust distance learning programs.
Upon completion of their studies, students will receive certificates recognised globally, ensuring that the institution maintains a high standard of academic credibility from its inception.
Primate Ayodele, who has often expressed a deep-seated passion for the media, described the initiative as a dream come true.
Despite having studied Mass Communication at a prestigious Nigerian institution earlier in his life, the demands of his prophetic ministry left him with little time to practice the profession.
“I have always loved communication; it is why I value my association with journalists. I enjoyed my time as a student, but my ministry didn't give me the luxury of time to practice.
“This school is my way of contributing to the field and helping others achieve the dreams I once deferred,” Primate Ayodele stated.
