Just last week, marking the first week after Primate Elijah Ayodele released his 2026 prophecies, reports emerged that some predictions were already coming to pass, even before the year 2026.
As if that were not enough, with the release now entering its second week, more prophecies have reportedly been fulfilled.
The 146-page prophecy book was released on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the prophet’s Lagos church, in the presence of several journalists.
Primate Ayodele is known for releasing his annual prophecies well ahead of the new year, as he believes early disclosure helps individuals, institutions, and governments prepare and take necessary precautions.
In addition to the previously reported fulfilled prophecies, below are some newly recorded developments:
Journalists’ Accident: A tragic incident occurred earlier in the week involving Nigerian journalists. While returning from an assignment, they were involved in a road accident that reportedly claimed the lives of about seven media practitioners.
In his prophecies, Primate Ayodele warned Nigerian journalists to pray against negative occurrences as the new year approached.
This warning appeared on page 126 of the prophecy book.
“Let all newscasters in Nigeria pray very well, and all TV presenters, against negative happenings,” he said.
Sadly, this warning appears to have been fulfilled.
Arena Market Fire:
On Wednesday, a massive fire broke out at Arena Market in Lagos, resulting in the destruction of properties reportedly worth billions of naira.
On page 6 of the prophecy book, Primate Ayodele warned against fire outbreaks in markets across the country.
“Eko Atlantic will have serious problems. Pray not to lose a prominent pastor and an Islamic scholar. Let us pray so that no market will be set ablaze, and that we will not witness the death of an Iyaloja or Babaloja,” the clergyman stated.
CBN Regulation: Earlier on Wednesday, a new regulation concerning bank transfer charges was introduced.
Unlike the previous arrangement, where recipients were charged ₦50 on transactions exceeding ₦10,000, the new policy, effective January 1, places the transaction charges on the sender.
Primate Ayodele had earlier predicted changes in banking regulations and policy frameworks.
This can be found on page 106 of the prophecy book. He said, “I foresee the Apex Bank will come up with different policy frameworks that will compel commercial and other banking institutions to comply with monetary policy directives of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
“The Spirit of God says there will be changes in the banking sector of our economy. The Apex Bank will do many things to sanitise the banking system.
“I foresee new regulations on commissions on deposits, withdrawals, and loans. There will be new rules and structures to checkmate the excesses of various categories of banking institutions.”
Anthony Joshua, a Nigerian-born heavyweight boxer, reportedly escaped death by a slim margin a few days ago when his vehicle was involved in an accident that led to the death of two individuals who were with him.
Joshua sustained minor injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
In his prophecies, Primate Ayodele urged prayers so that Nigeria would not lose a boxer. This warning appeared on page 128. In his words: “Let us pray not to lose any boxer in Nigeria and the world.”
Thankfully, the boxer survived the incident. However, the prophet urged that continued prayers be offered for him and others.
