Veteran Actor Chief Kanran, Passes Away

The Nigerian movie industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of veteran actor Segun Remi, fondly known by fans as Chief Kanran.


Chief Kanran, a respected figure in the Yoruba movie sector of Nollywood, was widely celebrated for his exceptional acting skills and memorable roles in both stage and screen productions. 


His career spanned decades, earning him admiration for his versatility, charisma, and ability to breathe life into traditional Yoruba storytelling.
