A fire outbreak on Friday engulfed Fresh FM, a popular radio station in Ibadan, located in the Felele area of Ibadan South-West Local Government Area, Oyo State.
The incident disrupted operations and related activities at the station.
The cause and extent of the damage remain unclear as of press time.
Confirming the development, the General Manager of Oyo State Fire Services, Rev. Akinyemi Akinyinka, said firefighters were already on the scene and had brought the situation under control.
Founded by renowned musician and broadcaster Yinka Ayefele, Fresh FM is one of Ibadan’s most listened-to stations, known for its vibrant programming and large audience reach.
