Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, on Saturday, July 5, 2025, gathered journalists from around the world to reveal the mind of God concerning Nigeria, Africa, and the world at large, through the latest edition of his annual prophecy book, Warnings to the Nations.
The purpose of the gathering was not for self-promotion, as Primate Ayodele is already well known, but to deliver divine warnings and revelations about world leaders and global events, particularly cautioning them of dangers that may lie ahead if they fail to heed divine counsel.
Warnings to the Nations is a comprehensive prophecy book that covers virtually every sector of human activity. From sports to traditional institutions, governance, politics, education, and more, no area is left untouched.
In the 2025/2026 edition, under the section addressing traditional institutions, Primate Ayodele issued a warning about the Olubadan of Ibadanland. He predicted the emergence of a new monarch in Ibadan and urged prayers for the incumbent king’s health.
“OLUBADAN OF IBADAN: The spirit of God says the king needs prayers for long life. I foresee some things will change due to his reforms in Ibadanland. I foresee certain pronouncements from the palace of the king that will be described as very wrong. The royal lineage in Ibadanland must be prayerful as I foresee the emergence of a new king soon.” (Page 144)
Remarkably, just 48 hours later, this prophecy has been fulfilled. Confirmed reports state that the highly respected monarch has passed on.
Tribune Online reports that the monarch, who ascended the throne in July 2024, died in the early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025, just two days after marking his 90th birthday.
Born on July 5, 1935, Oba Olakulehin received the staff of office from the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on July 12, 2024, becoming the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
He ascended the throne from the chieftaincy rung of Balogun Olubadan, following the passing of his predecessor, Oba (Dr.) Moshood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, who died at the age of 81 on March 14, 2024.
