NAJUC Ikeja Gets New Leaders, Promises Progress, Unity

The National Association of Judiciary Correspondents (NAJUC), Ikeja Branch, has entered a new era with the election and swearing-in of new executive officers to lead the association for the next two years.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the NAJUC Press Centre within the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, attracting judiciary correspondents, media practitioners, and special guests who gathered to witness the smooth leadership transition.

Mr Azeez Folorunso of Rulers’ World Magazine and Online was elected Chairman, while Mrs Adenike Ayodele of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) emerged as General Secretary.

Mr Stephen Aya of ThisDay newspaper was elected Treasurer.

All three officers were elected unopposed, a development hailed by stakeholders as a sign of harmony, maturity, and confidence in the new leadership.

In his acceptance speech, Folorunso called for collective support from members to ensure the association’s growth.

“At this juncture, I didn’t expect anything less from you than your maximum cooperation for the new executive, especially on how to move the association forward,” he said.
