In a move to deepen collaboration and enhance professional development, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Professional Practice Group (PPG) has announced a strategic partnership with leading professional services firm SIAO ahead of its 2025 Workshops and Symposium.
The Chairman of the PPG and National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers, Engr. Prisca Kanebi, led a high-level delegation on a courtesy visit to SIAO’s offices to explore avenues for cooperation.
The visit underscored the shared commitment of both organisations to foster impactful engagements across Nigeria’s professional landscape.
Kanebi praised SIAO for its 20 years of service and its stature as one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous firms with a strong presence across Africa.
She also acknowledged SIAO’s active membership in the Chamber, noting it as a critical link for advancing the group's agenda.
Welcoming the delegates, SIAO Managing Partner Mr Abiodun Ariyibi expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the firm’s readiness to contribute to upcoming PPG activities, including the highly anticipated PPG Networking Dinner scheduled for May 29, 2025.
Ariyibi assured the group of SIAO’s commitment to providing support through collaboration and sponsorship, aligning with shared goals for capacity building and professional excellence.
The meeting also featured robust discussions on the global economic outlook and its implications for Nigeria. Kanebi noted the focus on key issues such as accountability and financial discipline within the corporate sector—critical areas for many PPG members.
The visit concluded with a ceremonial exchange of gifts and tokens of appreciation. Dignitaries in attendance included Yeye Adenike Shobanjo, Dr.l Alex Ajibo, Mr Hakeem B. Olajide, and PPG Secretary Omeiza Jegede.
