After successfully reaching all 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Lagos State in 2024, Community Medics is set to expand its free medical outreach in 2025, focusing on underserved communities not previously visited.
The initiative kicks off in Apapa LGA on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
The outreach, aimed at promoting health and wellness, is organized by Princess Abiodun Islamiyat Oyefusi under her NGO, Soul Lifter Foundation, with support from PNR Foundation, Docs and Medics, and other healthcare organizations.
The first outreach for the year will take place at Tego Field, opposite the Army Intelligence Office, Bony Way, off Mobile Road, by Agbo-Malu Bus Stop, Apapa, Lagos, at 10 AM.
Free Healthcare Services Offered
Residents will receive free medical consultations and treatment from volunteer doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals committed to making a difference.
•General Health Checks – Blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, rapid diagnostic tests, and BMI assessments.
•Medical Consultation & Free Medications – Expert diagnosis, prescriptions, and treatment for common illnesses.
•Mental Health Support – Counseling and treatment for schizophrenia, OCD, eating disorders, drug-related issues, stress management, and bipolar disorder.
•Vision Care – Free eye tests, consultations with optometrists and ophthalmologists, and free prescription eyeglasses.

Community Medics is inviting doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to join the outreach and give back to the community.
The Community Medical Van will continue to visit different communities, ensuring accessible and sustainable healthcare for all.
