As Nigeria steps into 2025, Primate Ayodele, the Spiritual Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has extended heartfelt prayers and encouragement to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians in his New Year message.
In his address, the cleric expressed joy over the arrival of the new year, emphasizing its profound significance as a symbol of life and hope.
“It is indeed a new beginning for everyone across the world, and it is a joyful moment to experience,” he remarked, highlighting the opportunities a new year brings.
Primate Ayodele also described the transition into 2025 as a testament to endurance and resilience.
“Experiencing a new year is an indication of proof of life. It is an indication that whatever has a beginning also has an end. It is also proof that there is always a fresh beginning,” he noted.
Commending Nigerians’ enduring spirit, the cleric praised their remarkable tolerance and unwavering hope despite the challenges faced in 2024.
“I want to specifically salute Nigerians for their enduring spirit. Nigerians are amazingly tolerant, and I am surprised that despite all the nation went through in 2024, hopes remain high as we begin 2025,” he said.
Turning his attention to the new year, Primate Ayodele prayed for blessings on Nigerian families, asking for divine intervention to help households endure potential economic challenges.
He expressed optimism that God’s grace would guide the nation through whatever trials lie ahead.
In a special message to President Tinubu, the cleric prayed for divine wisdom and guidance to help him navigate Nigeria’s economic, spiritual, and physical challenges.
“I pray for Nigerian leaders, starting from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that God will grant him the wisdom to lead the nation rightly and surmount all the challenges facing the country economically, spiritually, and physically,” he said.
