Brake Failure Causes Accident in Lagos, Two Injured in Oshodi


The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has confirmed that two people were injured in a road accident that occurred in front of its headquarters on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, inward Oshodi Oke. 

In a statement released on its verified X handle on Wednesday, LASTMA reported that the crash resulted from a brake failure in a commercial bus. 

The statement read, “We just recorded a sad incident in front of LASTMA HQ inward Oshodi Oke on Apapa Oshodi Exp way. 

“A commercial bus had a brake failure and rammed into the culvert. There are two victims on the ground who are about to be taken to the nearby hospital."
