This Sunday, December 8, the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) will hold a grand celebration of gratitude at its Ikotun-Egbe headquarters in Lagos.
Marking the third edition of this Thanksgiving event, members, and Emmanuel TV Partners across continents will gather to honour God’s faithfulness as the foundation of the church.
The joyous occasion comes as the church reflects on its journey through trials and triumphs.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, SCOAN remained closed even after government restrictions were lifted, owing to its massive international following.
Prophet T.B. Joshua, the church’s late founder, chose to wait for divine instruction before reopening.
Tragically, just as global recovery began, Prophet T.B. Joshua passed away, leaving the church in mourning and its future uncertain.
Despite scepticism about its ability to endure, SCOAN has not only survived but thrived under the leadership of Pastor Evelyn Joshua, the wife of the late prophet.
Seamlessly stepping into her role, Pastor Evelyn has guided the church with humility, wisdom, and spiritual strength.
Her leadership has revitalized SCOAN, enabling it to maintain its global impact and expand its outreach.
Reflecting on the church’s growth, Pastor Evelyn Joshua said, “We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all that God has done for The Synagogue Church of All Nations.
“His faithfulness has brought healing, deliverance, blessings, and salvation.
He has preserved and multiplied our families, opened doors of breakthrough, and sustained us. We are celebrating His unfailing goodness.”
Achievements Under Pastor Evelyn Joshua
Since the reopening of the church three years ago, SCOAN has achieved remarkable milestones:
1. Revitalization of the Akure branch after years of dormancy.
2. Successful crusades and charity missions in Ghana, South Africa, Zambia, Spain, Kenya, and Argentina.
3. Expansion of charity initiatives across Nigeria and global distribution of Anointing Water.
4. Launch of the “Women of Grace Conference” to empower women in their divine roles.
5. Introduction of the “International Youth Conference” to inspire young people toward a peaceful future.
6. Regular welfare programs for elderly members and retreats to enrich spiritual lives.
Thanksgiving and Healing Services
The weekend’s celebration begins on Friday with a “Healing and Deliverance Service,” followed by the Thanksgiving event on Sunday.
These gatherings are expected to draw participants from Nigeria and beyond, underscoring the church’s enduring appeal.
SCOAN’s emphasis on sound doctrine and spiritual growth continues to strengthen its foundation.
Through retreats at the T.B. Joshua Mountain and various global initiatives, the church remains a beacon of hope for millions worldwide.
SCOAN’s resilience and progress affirm its divine calling. As a tree planted by the rivers of God, its leaves flourish, and its fruits multiply, a testament to its unwavering faith and steadfast leadership.
