Primate Ayodele Calls for Love and Compassion in Christmas Message

As Christians worldwide celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Primate Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has delivered a heartfelt message urging believers to embrace the true essence of Christmas: love and compassion.

Stressing the significance of Christ's birth as a profound expression of God's undying love and mercy, Ayodele emphasized that Christmas is more than a festive season.

“Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, whose life and sacrifice brought salvation and redemption to all of humanity,” he said.

The cleric called on Christians to reflect on the central message of love, reminding them to extend kindness to everyone, regardless of religion, race, or background.

“Let us show love to everyone we come across. Christmas is a reminder that we are all brothers and sisters, united in love,” Ayodele stated.

Addressing the ongoing economic and social challenges in Nigeria, Ayodele urged those blessed with resources to support those in need.

“In Nigeria, where many face difficulties, let us remember the spirit of Christmas by helping those less fortunate. If we have abundance, we must share it with those who are struggling,” he said.

Primate Ayodele also encouraged Christians to focus on the true meaning of the season, keeping Jesus Christ at the center of celebrations.

“While we rejoice, let us not forget the humility, love, and compassion that Jesus exemplified in His life. These are values we must strive to emulate daily,” he added.

He concluded with a warm Christmas greeting, urging everyone to live Christ-like lives in their actions and interactions.

“Merry Christmas to all,” he said, “and may we all carry the spirit of love and compassion into the new year,” the cleric added.
