Following Donald Trump's emergence as the winner of the US Presidential election, some have claimed that Primate Ayodele’s prophecies about the election were inaccurate.
The prophecy in question, which some describe as a "miss,” was shared by Primate Ayodele on September 29.
The prophet had stated that Trump would lose if the election were held on that day.
His exact words were:
“If there is an election today, Trump will not win; he will lose.
“Kamala Harris will shock the world; her policies will be better than Trump’s.
“Trump will be another disaster for the world, and if there is an election today, he will fail.
“If he loses this election, he will want to create a kind of protest to instigate people. He must be careful."
Grammatically, this statement is clear enough to be understood by anyone with basic knowledge of English.
The simple explanation is that if an election had taken place on September 29, Trump would have lost.
It does not imply that a later election would yield the same result; this is not difficult to grasp.
Moreover, Primate Ayodele offered further updates and clarifications on this prophecy.
He shared multiple prophecies about the US presidential election, both before and after this statement.
Unfortunately, either due to negligence or an intent to discredit him, some writers focused solely on this one prophecy without considering his subsequent comments.
In a video shared before the election, Primate Ayodele specifically advised Kamala Harris to be cautious of Donald Trump and emphasized that she should focus on five states if she wanted to win.
“Kamala Harris, listen to me now: you will lose this election if you are not careful.
“You are not doing well in your strongholds; they will knock you out at the electoral college.
“If you don’t want to lose, work hard on your strongholds. Don’t assume that the way Trump is conducting himself will automatically cause people not to vote for him.
“To win, you need a landslide in your strongholds, particularly in these five states: Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and California. If you don’t, it will be very difficult for you.”
Additionally, before Kamala Harris became the Democratic candidate, Primate Ayodele prophesied that she would face challenges in specific states and advised her on what to do to secure victory.
“Kamala Harris will be nominated as the Democratic candidate, which will change the face of American politics.
“During the general election, she will face challenges in states such as Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Ohio, and Michigan.
“Just as I advised Hillary Clinton to concentrate on these states, Kamala Harris should do the same if she wants to win.”
Given these points, focusing on just one prophecy out of several and suggesting that Primate Ayodele was wrong is not only unfair but also misleading.
It’s unfortunate when journalism is used as a tool to spread propaganda rather than provide accurate analysis.
People should understand how prophecy works and how Primate Ayodele communicates his visions.
He doesn't simply declare winners and losers without discussing how outcomes may be influenced by actions. He intends to warn both sides, giving them the chance to act.
Primate Ayodele’s words were clear: Kamala Harris could win if she secured her strongholds and performed well in five key states.
However, she did not achieve this in all those areas, winning only one of the mentioned states. What more could have been expected?
For Trump, Primate Ayodele stated he would lose if the election were held in September, which may have spurred Trump into action.
We saw Trump’s last-minute efforts—meeting people, doing various activities to appeal to voters, and reinforcing his base. Harris, on the other hand, missed some opportunities.
Even in the Bible, Jacob used strategy to receive a blessing that was meant for Esau.
Similarly, faith without effort is insufficient. Primate Ayodele warned Harris about her weak points, yet she failed to heed those warnings.
Moreover, the Bible offers other examples. God initially told Prophet Jonah to declare that Nineveh would be destroyed in 40 days, but when the people repented, God spared them.
Similarly, Prophet Hezekiah was informed he would die but was later granted 15 more years after he prayed. Are we to say these prophets “missed” their prophecies?
Before judging prophets and men of God, it’s crucial to consider context and conduct a thorough analysis.
In this case, a basic understanding of English, along with a review of Primate Ayodele’s other prophecies, would have provided better insight.
Unfortunately, this appears to be another misguided attempt to undermine Primate Ayodele’s reputation.
