Polaris Bank Retains Crown as Nigeria’s Top Digital, MSME Bank

In a notable achievement, Polaris Bank has once again been recognized as Nigeria’s leading digital banking institution, securing the prestigious “Digital Bank of the Year” award for the fourth consecutive year at the Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.

Polaris Bank also won “Best Bank for MSMEs of the Year” for the third year running, underscoring its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The bank’s digital platform, VULTe, emerged as the winner due to its standout functionality, security, and customer engagement.

The BAFI Awards Selection and Review Committee highlighted Polaris Bank’s performance across several metrics, including its effective strategy for customer acquisition, high user engagement, and consistent growth in its digital user base.

Managing Director and CEO of Polaris Bank, Mr Kayode Lawal, expressed pride in the achievements, attributing the success of VULTe to its user-friendly, multifunctional design.

He noted that in just the first eight months of 2023, digital lending transactions reached over N10 billion, on track to surpass last year’s total of N12.8 billion.

Lawal affirmed the bank’s ongoing commitment to advancing customer convenience, safety, and cutting-edge technology in the digital banking space.

Polaris Bank’s VULTe platform offers a comprehensive suite of features, including QR payments, end-to-end account opening, instant loans, debit card requests, and API Banking for business integration.

Available to both customers and non-customers alike, VULTe provides an efficient, all-in-one banking solution for individuals, SMEs, and high-net-worth clients, solidifying Polaris Bank’s leadership in Nigeria’s financial services industry.
