Bangladesh president dissolves parliament

 

Ousted Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina

President Mohammed Shahabuddin of Bangladesh on Tuesday dissolved parliament.

The dissolution is part of the demand from student protesters who led demonstrations that ousted long-time ruler Sheikh Hasina.

In a statement issued by Shiplu Zaman, press secretary of the President, “The president has dissolved parliament.”
