Bangladesh Nobel winner Yunus leads Bangladesh interim government


Muhammad Yunus, Bangladesh’s Nobel-winning microfinance pioneer, has been appointed to lead an interim government after mass protests forced longtime prime minister Sheikh Hasina to flee.

This position was made known on Wednesday by the presidency in an announcement.
