The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Tuesday put its members and affiliates on red alert, threatening a nationwide strike should the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) detain its president, Joe Ajaero.
It also pointed accusing fingers at the Federal Government (FG) of harassing its leaders.
The decision of the NLC was made public by the deputy president of the union, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju after an emergency meeting of the group’s National Executive Council (NEC).
