I Won’t Drag Power With Obaseki — New Deputy Governor

Omobayo Godwins, the new Deputy Governor of Edo State, has declared that he is learning on the job and would not drag power with his principal, Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Godwins equally pledged his unalloyed loyalty to Governor Obaseki in the few months they will work together before the end of the governor’s eight-year double term on November 12, 2016.

He further stated that he would not hesitate to do all that his principal instructs him to do.

The 37-year-old, who was sworn in after the state assembly impeached Shaibu as Edo deputy governor, was a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme.
