After 22 Months, Jose Peseiro Quits As Super Eagles Coach

Super Eagles Coach, Jose Peseiro, has resigned from his position after taking the team to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON. 

Peseiro’s decision is coming after twenty-two months of taking up the appointment.

It would be recalled that the Super Eagles lost to Cote d’Ivoire in the final of the competition. 

However, his contract with the team expired in February and was expected to continue with the team after meeting his semi-final target.
