Rivers War: Fight With Fubara Will Lead To Wike's Fall Politically, Says Primate Ayodele

The fight with the incumbent governor of Rivers State, Simi Fubara, alongside the immediate-past governor of the state, Nyesom Wike, will no doubt weaken the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This position was made public on Tuesday by the Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, who also described the alleged power tussle between the duo as nemesis catching up with Wike over his contribution towards the emergence of a Muslim-Muslim presidency.

The clergyman, who spoke through a statement issued by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, posited that the tussle would lead to the fall of Wike politically.

Primate Ayodele advised Governor Fubara to seek the face of God on what to do with his predecessor because he won’t stop until he brings him down and won’t listen to anybody regarding the issue.

The preacher said, "When I warned that some governors would fight their predecessors, some people thought I didn’t know what I was saying. They said I am a political prophet, but they don’t know that there is nothing like a political prophet.

“A prophet is a prophet regardless of what he talks about, as long as it comes to pass, and I don’t even talk about politics alone, I talk about every sector in the country.

’I said Fubara and Wike would fight, but people thought it wouldn’t be possible, but now, it has happened. This fight will ridicule Wike, he will be weakened. He will begin to have sleepless nights, and I see this fight leading to the fall of Wike politically. This is purely nemesis fighting the former governor.

‘’Fubara must seek the face of God to know what to do about Wike because nobody will be able to settle this. Until Wike brings Fubara down, he won’t stop.

“Wike will not listen to anybody, he won’t even listen to God because this fight is meant to pay him back for his contribution in bringing a Muslim-Muslim presidency on board.”
