Jibrin Barau wins Deputy Senate President position

Senator Jibrin Barau on Tuesday emerged as the Deputy President of the Senate.

He emerged unopposed after senator-elect Dave Umahi nominated him for the position of Deputy Senate President and read his citation.

The nomination was seconded by Senator Saliu Mustapha from Kwara Central Senatorial District.
